MSG NAMES NEW HOST FOR THE NETWORK’S SIGNATURE SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM, MSG, NY
New York, NY, November 16, 2006 – MSG, a world class sports and entertainment network, has named Jason Horowitz as a host of the network’s new signature sports and entertainment show MSG, NY. The series, which premiered on October 16, is a half-hour live sports news and entertainment show airing Tuesday through Saturday generally following Knicks and Rangers games at 10:00 pm. Since its premiere the series has featured interviews with a lineup of top athletes, musicians and celebrities including NFL stars Tiki and Ronde Barber, multi-platinum selling artists The Killers, Knicks legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier, New Jersey Nets Coach Lawrence Frank, actor Michael Rappaport (The
War at Home), Rangers legend Mark Messier, comedian Dane Cook, actor and musician Jack Black (Tenacious D), New York Knicks President and Coach Isiah Thomas, among others.

The show also goes behind the scenes at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall to provide the audience with a peek at sound checks, backstage activity, interviews with performers and clips of special performances. 11 Penn Plaza, with the ‘World’s Most Famous Arena’ in the backdrop.
Horowitz will host MSG, NY Wednesday through Friday. Al Trautwig will host the show on Saturday nights and continue hosting the Knicks and Rangers pre and post game shows. Deb Kaufman will host Tuesday nights on
MSG, NY and co-host with Horowitz on Thursdays. Contributing reporters for the show include Katie McGee, Scott Lasky and Bobbito Garcia.
Horowitz is the current face of CBS Sportsline, the web home of CBS Sports. He has hosted and produced CBS Sportsline’s coverage of the NFL and college football since its inception in September 2005, and can be seen daily hosting the
Daily Sports Update. Horowitz has worked alongside both Tim Brando and Pat Kirwan, and served as the halftime host of CBS Sportsline’s record-breaking web coverage of the NCAA Tournament, CBS Sportsline’s
NCAA March Madness on Demand. Horowitz began his national career finishing in the “final four” of ESPN’s second season of
